Walk for Peace
In recognition of gun violence awareness month, the city of Lauderhill held a walk for peace. The walk for peace started at the city of Lauderhill’s police department and ended at the city of Lauderhill’s City Hall. Several leaders from the community stuck together chanting, peaceful chance as they walked the streets of Lauderhill, taking a stand for peace in conjunction with the Walk for Peace, the city of Lauderhill Health, a resource healthier their free health resources were provided childcare and other resources.
In the course of this project, I utilized a range of skills:
- Campaign Pieces: I contributed to leading various campaign materials to support “Resource Fair and Walk for Peace.”
- Look and Feel: I lead the creation of the Walk for Peace look and feel including the use of orange that is the color universally for Gun Violence awareness, which has become synonymous with the event.
- Brand Strategy: I played a pivotal role in crafting the brand strategy, ensuring it resonated with our target audience.
- Campaign Strategy: I developed a comprehensive campaign strategy to maximize the event’s impact and reach.
- Leadership: I provided leadership and direction to the team, ensuring the project’s success.
- Social Media: I ensured the correct creatives were made to reach the proper target audience. This includes boosting on multiple social platforms.
- Marketing: I crafted the marketing plan and monitored to amount of registrations, sponsors and vendors
- Campaign Execution: I oversaw the execution of the campaign, including boosting and targeting ads to reach a wider audience.
- Collaterals: Digital Flyer, Print Flyer, 4×8 sign, T-shirt, Forms, Eventbrite Cover, FB Cover, Newsletter, Ads for Magazine, Radio Commercial, TV Commercial,, day of show signs, reels, Email blasts and more

I played a key role as the main point of contact for both Haitian and American radio stations, bloggers, and negotiated
radio advertisements, Facebook promotions, email campaigns, boosted posts, and interview schedules for this event.
